Set to kick off the 2021 releases for Kanye West‘s collaborative line, the latest take on the sneakersignal.com model is centered around a vibrant color scheme. The upper of the shoe features a bright dark yellow mesh base accented by dynamic panels of yellow, black and turquoise textile, nubuck and leather. Elevating the shoe is a sculpted orange midsole riddled with black hits that match the rubber outsole below.
Despite having a lower price-point than the Adidas Sneakers Black and the Quantum (not to mention again the lack of Boost cushioning), the 700 v3 has seemed to outperform those models in the grey market, with prices commanding at least the double the retail price. Attribute that to the unique nature of the shoe and the relative scarcity to the 350, but we imagine there are more 700 v3 colorways on the ledger for 2021.
The newest to be welcomed into next year’s mix is the popular Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Salt which will be launching in a brand new makeup entitled the “Kyanite”. For those who aren’t experts in geology, if you google search its moniker you’ll find that the search results populates an aluminosilicate mineral rock that has a marbled blue white aesthetic. And you’ll realize that the name in this case makes perfect sense for why this particular iteration is styled in the way that it is.
The Popular Style “Sun” will be the very first colorway to usher in the change, essentially starting over the line-up with a scheme somewhat reminiscent of the Wave Runner that kicked off the line-up initially. Even the very same black and blue tones make a return, the pair using them atop a sizable portion of the forefoot and lower profile. Elsewhere, where greys originally occupied, the titular orange takes the helm, dyed into the layers of leather, suede, and mesh.
